Tissue Paper Seller

Today my roommate and i went to Dhoby Ghaut MRT together. On the way we wanted to buy some tissue papers. 

Initially we wanted to go to 7-11, but on the street in front of peace center we saw a disabled old lady on a wheel chair selling tissue papers. 

So we decided to buy form her. 3 packs for 1 dollar as usual. So my roommate and i bought 1 set each. We were comparing the pictures on each pack until we feel something like paper at the back of a pack. We flip it and this is what we saw:

So she arranged the packs nicely so that we didn't see the paper until we wanted to use that pack. And I realized that for each set that we bought, there is one piece of paper with different bible verses. 

This is so cool! God is so cool. 

God can use everyone of us. Even an old disabled lady that is only selling tissue paper. 

You may think that her life is pitiful. Still working under the burning sun in her age. But you never know that she is one of God's hand. And who knows, how many life has received salvation by her selling these tissue paper.

Dear friend, God can use each and everyone of us. never think that you are not worthy to Him. 

 Matthew 9:37-38

"..... "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray before the Lord of harvest...."

Let us all pray so that we can also be hand of God..  That we can help Him to harvest.. 

My Prayer today

"God please bless that lady spiritually and physically. Give her strength and health. Let her be blessing to other people so that many will be saved."

Motivation

Easter is coming everyone... 

Let us all invite our friends to come.. It'll be amazing to see how God works

but in here i want to share about the motivation. 

as i prayed, God always reminds me of the motivation of everything i do.

Is it for the glory of His Kingdom or is it for our own glory?

As we become more and more on fire, sometimes what is supposed to glorify His Name just become a habit or sometimes just to hit some number..

So friends, let us all meditate again about the motivation in your heart. 

As the motivation in our heart is correct, He will move with us.. ^^

need sleep

well well well.. I've been slacking today, the whole day!

watching pokemon season 1 and playing some new facebook game. 

And now, here I am.. Doing my work in the middle of the night. 

And I'm not even half done.. long way to go. ^^

I've eaten 3 bananas over night.. Do you guys know that banana is a brain booster? 

So instead of taking coffee, i eat banana..

BTW, banana is also good for replacing carb. So it is also good to keep us full without having too much extra carb. 

ok, enough blogging.. ^^ hope i can finish everything by 6. so i can sleep for at least 2 hours later.. 

What's wrong?

seriously stef, i still don't get it what's so fun about making people feel bad???

ok, here is the thing...

It's been a while since one of my friend be so cynical.

It's like criticizing  everything i do..

Not that i can't take critic. the critic is given so cynically and with such tone and also a very irritating face.

I can tolerate it for sometime, but now i'm really fed up. 

I have no idea what to do. do you?

God..... i really need help... give me more capacity..

Being a good friend

I recently realized about this..

well, for me a good friend is not only the one who is with you in happy times. also not the one that gives you compliment all the times. also not only the one who give gifts all the time.

real friend may not always be with you, but they are always there when needed. 

real friend may not always gives compliment, but they say the truth and wish for the best.

real friend may not always gives gifts, but they give LOVE

real friend listen to you, not only hear you speaking.

real friend appreciate your opinion

real friend is You.. 

Many cried out loud for the friends that haven't been saved. 

Many said we want to reach out to the lost.

Many are shouting "God lead us to the lost"

But

did you try to have a relationship with them and meet their needs?

did you really open your heart for every possibilities that is around you?

are you willing to share the love of God to people that sometimes even disgust you?

did you know that God already led you to the lost? 

can't you see all the people around you that haven't received salvation? 

do you know that we should be praying for us to be ready when the opportunity comes rather than praying for the opportunities to come?

it's time to see how we are doing here. Time to be a better Christian.

Back To School

ring ring ring ring...

Although there is no such thing at my school, but I just feel like saying it...

Yeaaaa..... You're right..

It's time for school again.. 

after a week of break, now let's come back to where we are..

The goal for this new term is to get everything done excellently..

My prayer today:

Dear God, please prepare all of us for this new term. Let the spirit of excellence come upon us and we can do the best to glorify Your name. Amen

FAMILY

We are family in Christ 

Today ko yon shared about the unity in our beloved cell group..

Yea, i really agree with him, this cell is a place where we are united for one purpose.

To glorify His kingdom together as a family.

"A place of agreement is a place of power" 

this is what a cell group supposed to be: a place of power

a place where every need is met and every sickness is healed. 

a place where we can all grow together and be encouraged when discouraged.

a place where new comers feel like home and accepted.

This is a place it should be. 

No one is perfect, so let everybody remember again about the purpose of this cell group and let us together make this place as it should be..

Time to change

I've just talked to one of my beloved sister in S43. 

Love it, love it, love it... I really love to talk to her... ^^ I do enjoyed every moments I have with her.. ^^

I know that I am not a perfect person, neither a perfect member in church. I've got to change some of my habits and be a better person.

So these are some of the changes I have to do:

1. be more careful when joking around. I realized that sometimes I went over the limit of joking. So very sorry to all my friends that feel so.

2. use my mind more. I always use only my feeling.

3. Don't easily get upset.. 

hehehe... so this is so far that i've been trying to change and it is very hard. So, i really want to apologize to everyone for doing so much mistakes... T_T

The Lord the Shepherd of His people

Psalm 23 (NKJV)

The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.

He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

Yea, through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; 

For You are with me; 

Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;

You anoint my head with oil;

My cup runs over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; 

And I will dwell in the house of The Lord forever.

My Shepherd

Last night as I pray, God came and talked to me...

As He came, I kept on complaining about the things that didn't happen as I thought it should be. 

And this is what He said, "dear, for I am your shepherd, do not worry about things that didn't happen as it should be. For I will take care of all the matters in this world. Just do your part and I'll do the rest." 

Right at that moment I felt really free. Free from all the thoughts that bugged me for sometime. 

"Have I not commanded you?

Be strong and of good courage; 

Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed ,

for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go!"

- Joshua 1:9 -

Why we are persistent to ask u to come?

well, as a Christian, I know that sometimes we are a bit naggy about asking our friends to come to church. 

Trust me, I've been there before.

but this is the truth, We ask the people we care and love for.

we want people to experience the heavenly place we love. we want people to see who strengthen us in everything we do. who guide us and help us in the midst of every crisis. 

That's all and nothing more..

It's been a while since I read my previous blog. And jut now i decided to read it all again. 

Hmmm... Actually, me myself felt really blessed. Some of the notes I wrote there, I don't even remember.

Assessment Day

Finally, can breathe again.. ^^ 

Submission has kept me away from sleeping.. 

During the submission week, if you saw me, only my physic was there, my mind and spirit were else where. All I do during those days were just do work, do work, do work and nothing else.

When I was doing my work, He asked me, "Is all of your submission is really more important for you? Why did you kept on holding onto your own strength and not Mine?"

But He never left me alone. Even when I didn't really pay that much attention to Him, He's always there for me. A song from Chris Tomlin - "You Lifted Me Out" was put in my heart. I kept on singing it with all my heart.. And it's true, suddenly i had much much more energy to do everything. He really lifted me Out and set me dancing!

He cheered me up when I felt tired and wanted to give up for sleep. He made me stayed awake till everything is done. As I praise Him, His presence is there to refresh me.

So when you are perplexed and ready to give up, always remember that He's there to lift you up.

My Prayer those days:

"God, I am really sorry for not realizing that You are always there for me. From now on I will depend on Your strength only. I'll give You praise in everything I do. Love You.."
